Camera Wrist Straps
Love them or hate them, camera straps are a must. I used to think I didn’t need one for my Nikon D610 full-frame camera, but the more I thought about dropping it—or someone grabbing it—the more I changed my mind.
Neck straps? Not really my thing. The camera bounces around too much, and it’s always on show, which isn’t great for street photography and can make it a target for theft.
That’s why I go for wrist straps. They keep the camera secure, steady, and a lot more discreet.
For the Nikon D610, which is a big, heavy camera, I use the Peak Design Cuff. It’s tough, reliable, and gives me peace of mind.

For my Fujifilm X-Pro2 and X-E5, which have more of a retro look, I wanted something that matched the style with a softer feel. I went with the VKO Soft Rope Wrist Strap—black for the X-Pro2 and green for the X-E5. Both look and feel great.
